Poly Rack Version 2.0

There is a new version of the Poly Rack software. All serials above 223 already have 2.0; versions 1 and 1.2 can be updated. To check your version, hold the Reset button and hit Compare.

Version 1.2 can be update via MIDI dumps; download the zip file here.

For version 1.0 Racks, some of the ICs must be physically replaced. The update kit is available for $25 from our on-line sales page here. Before purchasing the kit, you should download the zip file that list the changes and replacement instructions. The IC replacement is easy to do, but if you prefer, you can always send in your Rack and we'll update it for you for the same $25 fee. Please email us before returning your synth.

There are now a number of MIDI CCs to which the Rack will respond, and there is a new unison mode. Most of the other changes are for complete compatibility with the Poly Keyboard. If you are not interested in the CCs, and don't have a Poly Keyboard, you likely do not need to update to 2.0.

Note that registered Poly Keyboard owners do not have to pay for the upgrade.
