New .WAV to Evolver wavetable converter!
A very cool utility program by Darren Richards that allows you to drop in a 128 sample .WAV file, and send it to a user wavetable location in your Evolver via a sysex message. Check it out here!

New Sound Diver adaptation for Evolver 2.0 OS (40k, .zip)
This version (Oct 2004) was modified by Darren Richards to include features in Evolver 2.0.

Sound Diver beta adaptation PC Version (40k, .zip)
This is a new version submitted by Karl H. Tovrmark (thanks, Karl!!), it fixes up an edit buffer problem, adds envelope displays, and best of all includes a basic waveshape editor! The new editor allows you to display all 128 waveshapes, and edit them graphically. You can then store the edited versions in the user waveshape area (shapes 97-128). It is beta since it has not been extensively tested yet, but please give it a try and let us know. You can try it on a Mac also.

Note that while editting the individual samples, if you grab the slider and drag it, a huge amount of midi data is sent out. As suggested in the window, it might be best to disable midi while editing. Or, you can click on a slider, and only a single table will be sent, which works better than dragging.

  1. Download the file by selecting the appropriate link above.
  2. Uncompress the file and save it to the folder C:/Program Files/Emagic/Soundiver 3.0/Diver (for PC users). For Mac users, please consult your documentation included with SoundDiver.

Cubase Patch Selection Script -Text format (13k, .zip)
From a user in London. The patchnames are meaningless, ie "Bank 1 - 01", rather than real names; the main point for the scripts in cubase is for selecting the right program change. you can easily edit the text script.

Cubase Patch Selection Script -SX XML format (569k, .zip)
A differert format from the same source. Edit the names inside SX's midi device manager.
