Evolver Editor
The new stand-alone editor for the PC is
now available, as is the Mac OSX version!
This editor is perfect for users who want
to use their PC to generate sounds for Evolver. Packed with
all the features you would expect, and then some, it allows
you to see all the parameters in one concise screen, a great
way to analyze those complex factory programs.
Other screens allow wavetable editing, bank
views, main parameter views, and a very cool random program
generator that includes some interesting genetic program generators.
There are two different views for the sequences also.

Without the purchased registration code, the editor will run
in demo mode. Demo version allows you to get a closer look at
all the screens, and edit a handful of parameters.

Note on Evolver internal software
versions: Most Evolvers in the field are version 1.1. The
latest version (with many cool new features) is 2.0, and is
now available here if you
would like to download it (free, of course). Instructions are
on the download page. The Editor will work with older versions
of Evolver software, but not all features will be functional.
The Editor also includes a utility to update your Evolver software
- it is located in the File menu.
